Who Do We Support?
Dr. Sorohan provides individual psychological support and assessments for school-age children and adolescents (ages 5–17) who may be experiencing mild emotional, behavioural, or learning difficulties.
Together with CORU Registered partners; she provides multidisciplinary Autism Assessments. She is available to complete educational assessments and school/educational support plans. If a home or school visit is required, this can be arranged. Dr. Sorohan can facilitate online or in person parent support sessions.
Given her wealth of psychological experience , she is available for training and consultation, media and speaking events.

We offer services to children and families seeking help with:
Difficulties with learning, reading, spelling or maths.
Developmental assessments and psychoeducational testing.
Behavioural concerns at home or school.
Mild emotional challenges (e.g. anxiety, low mood, emotional regulation, adjustment to life events).
Parental guidance and strategies via online or in person consultations.
Current Service Scope
While we aim to help as many families as possible, we are not best placed to meet the following needs at this time:
Emergency or crisis mental health services.
This service does not provide medico legal reports or assessment reports for the purposes of custody and access. To avoid conflict of interest, this service does not see children who are currently active with the local Tusla or CAMHS services.
Children and Young People with complex needs requiring multidisciplinary or psychiatry support
For more complex or urgent needs, we recommend contacting your GP for referral to your local public mental health service or other appropriate service. For urgent out of hours mental health supports, please contact Doctor on Call or the local Accident and Emergency Department.
Our Location & Availability.
We are located in Cavan Town, with in-person appointments available. We also offer online parent consultations, making our support accessible no matter where you’re based in Ireland. Weekend appointments are available.
